Spring Is In The Air

I have been loving the weather that we've been having! It has felt like spring and actually a lot of times like summer for several weeks now! Our winter was actually very mild compared to last year and nothing to complain about, but I am loving all of the blooms and flowers and green grass sprouting up all over. Easter is a little more than a week away and I've had our decorations up for a little while now, so I thought I would share a few pictures from around our house...

Hugs & Kisses

Wow! I can't believe I have not blogged in over two months! I hope y'all are doing well! I have been so busy and life just got the best of me! So many exciting things have been going on, but more on that on a later day! :)

Well, Valentine's Day is tomorrow. I love Valentine's day for the fun of it. We don't do a big to-do for Valentine's day - no crowded, over-priced dinner out - more like romantic home cooked meal in our own home, just the two of us - sounds perfect. I hope your Valentine's day is lovely, however you chose to celebrate it (or not)!

Of course I decorate for Valentine's Day! Here is the Valentine's Day wreath I made last month for our front door.

Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving is about one week away, can you believe it?! November is flying by! I will be busy next week making all sorts of stuff for for our annual get together with Matt's family. I am planning on making my usual contribution, homemade cranberry sauce, along with an assortment of sweet treats. I am excited to see everyone, but I'm sure that I will be busy preparing up until the last minute. Time for Halloween

It's almost mid October which means that it's time for Halloween decorations and party planning. There have been a bunch of adorably decorated doorsteps popping up in our neighborhood and I love to see all of them when we walk around. I think it's really fun to decorate the inside and outside of my home for the fall and Halloween season.

It's Fall Y'all

Fall officially began last Friday and I could not be more excited. Along with the cooler weather, fall also includes great clothes and boots which I am so excited about because of all the wonderful textures and layering. I also love everything else that fall brings with it, the leaves changing colors, pumpkin patches, football, apple picking, and homemade soup.
